If you have noticed that your Internet Time tab is missing in Server 2008 Date and Time settings this information may be helpful to you.

You can manually set your Server to update it's time by synchronizing with an external Internet Time Server.

Steps

1. Open the Command prompt window.

2. Type or paste the following commands one at a time.

w32tm /config /syncfromflags:MANUAL /manualpeerlist:wwv.nist.gov
w32tm /config /update
w32tm /resync
